General Terms & Conditions

By registering and paying the deposit/tuition for a workshop or training, the student is agreeing to the following terms.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Online & In-Person Trainings:

  • All trainings must be paid in full before the event start date.

  • Training cancellations must be made in writing more than 60 days before the first day of the training. A full refund will be given before 60 days, minus a €100 admin fee (+ bank/PayPal charges).

  • Within 60 days of the program’s commencement date, tuition fees are non-refundable. If, however, the cancellation is made prior to the course start, the tuition can be transferred to a future training (limited to one transfer only). If a cancellation is made once the course has already begun, there is no option to transfer to a future training and the tuition will be forfeited in full.  If the PDF manual has already been sent, no refund will be given.

  • In the unlikely event that an Act of God (e.g. pandemic or natural disaster) affects the commencement of training and the training is cancelled before it starts, we will issue a full refund to all students (- bank/PayPal charges). If the training has already started, students will receive a refund for the training, minus the hours already undertaken (+ bank/ PP charges).

  • No refunds will be given if a students removed from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behavior that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students. 

  • For events hosted at a studio, the studio’s specific terms and conditions will prevail.

Online Classes & Workshops

  • All online class and workshop bookings are non-refundable.

  • In the unlikely event that an Act of God (e.g. pandemic or natural disaster) affects the commencement of online class/workshop and the event is cancelled before it starts, we will issue a full refund to all students (- bank/PayPal charges).


Retreat Terms & Conditions

By registering and paying the deposit/tuition for the retreat training, the student is agreeing to the following terms.

Payment Policies

  • If you are not paying the full price upon registration, a non-refundable deposit of €400 is required to secure your spot on a retreat.

  • The retreat fee should be paid in full 90 days before the retreat starts (the exact date for final payment for each retreat will be outlined on the event page).

  • If you are booking a spot on a retreat that is happening in the next 90 days, payment in full is required at time of booking.

Cancellation/ Refund Policies

  • All retreat deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise specified (e.g. Acts of God, outlined below).

  • Cancellations made in writing more than 90 days before the first day of the training will be refunded the amount paid in full minus the deposit.

  • No refunds will be given for any cancellations within 90 days of the start date of the retreat, however we will always endeavour to give you a full refund IF we can fill your space.

  • Any refunds given do not include any personal expenses you have incurred such as flights or any other costs that are not paid directly to us. We recommend taking out travel insurance if you want to have these expenses covered.

  • You can transfer funds to another retreat or training (full amount or deposit, depending on time and reason for cancellation), minus an admin fee of €100 for each transfer. Transfers are valid for 2 years.

  • In the unlikely event that an Act of God (e.g. pandemic or natural disaster) affects the commencement of training and the training is cancelled prior to arrival, we will issue a full refund to all students, including the deposit (- bank charges).

  • In the unlikely event that the retreat has to be cancelled for another reason (including new COVID measures), we will refund the full amount paid, including the deposit (-bank charges).

  • No refunds or transfers will be given if a student is removed from the program for bad conduct. Bad conduct is violation of the Code of Conduct, harassment, bullying, or any other behaviour that is inappropriate or disruptive to the welfare of the program or to fellow students. 


Limitation of Liability

  • Yintelligence cannot be responsible or liable for any injury, loss or damage of property, or disruption of any program due to circumstances beyond their control.

  • I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to my participation in any Yintelligence class, workshop or teacher training. By registering, I therefore declare that I am physically fit and I have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in any Yintelligence class, workshop or teacher training.

  • I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which I might incur as a result of participating in the program.

  • I knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waive any claim I may have against Yintelligence for injury or damages that I may sustain as a result of participating in the program.

Release - Filming for Marketing Purposes

  • When registering for a workshop, training or retreat, you agree to be included in photographs taken that may be used for promotional purposes on the Yintelligence website, advertisements and associated social media websites, including that of host studios.

Yintelligence reserves the right to update and/or alter these terms and conditions at any time. It is the client’s responsibility to check for updates. The latest terms and conditions can always be found on the website www.yintelligence.com and will override any previous versions.
