About The Workshop
Join us for a thought-provoking, educational and experiential workshop that will introduce the groundbreaking anatomic theories behind The Functional Approach – the method that teaches based on the understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to yoga.
In this full day immersion, we will take a close look at skeletal variation, unpack Paul Grilley’s 14-10-7 method and begin to learn how to apply The Functional Approach to our yin yoga practice.
Whatever your level of experience or interest, The Functional Approach will make your practice safer and more effective, allowing you to truly surrender to the stillness, to gravity and explore the many deeper layers of the slow, subtle, yet profound practice of yin yoga.
The Functional Approach is continuing to change the future of yoga – creating a more accessible and inclusive practice for all people, no matter what age, shape, size, or athletic ability.
The workshop is open to teachers and practitioners looking to learn more about anatomy and individual biomechanics, so as to practice and teach person-centred yoga.
This workshop will inspire you to change the way you practise and teach, forever - leaving you with a thirst to understand more about human variation and how it applies to all styles of yoga.
This is the first time The Functional Approach is being taught in Cyprus. This is a workshop not to be missed!
